Chao is a young panda making his way in the world. He works in the Imperial Palace, and is a messenger, so he spends most of his time running from one noble family to another (this is very good exercise). One night, when he was returning from a long journey, he saw the princess being kidnapped by a band of brigands! Being a panda of gallant nature, Chao rushed headlong into the commotion and thanks to his agility, snatched the princess out of danger and restored her to her family. Chao was presented with the Imperial symbol of courage, which he wears proudly around his neck. Chao is now one of the most honored pandas in the kingdom….and he got a kiss from the beautiful princess too!
