Vic finally became old enough to take horseback riding lessons! He arrived at the stable for lesson one: How to trot. Vic was assigned a beautiful steed named Rusty. It barreled off, leaving Vic clinging on, screaming. As it galloped around the corral, Rusty turned sharply and threw Vic off his back. A shaken Vic was helped back on the horse by the instructor. “Next week will be better for you Vic”, the instructor reassured him. He walked out of the barn that day with the confidence that his friendship with Rusty would last forever.
