It used to be that Hendrik was just a humble member of the royal guard. But one night he noticed something rather suspicious. There was a trail of chocolate leading from the palace window to the garden gate. As everyone knows, chocolate never takes midnight walks. Hendrik followed the trail, and he discovered three turtles and a frog making fondue! “Where did you get this chocolate?” Hendrik asked. “Run!” the frog exclaimed. “The princess knows we took it!” With a leap the frog disappeared, but Hendrik managed to apprehend the turtles by flipping them on their backs. He gathered up what was left of the princess’s chocolate and quietly returned it, putting a moonflower on top. Now Hendrik is Sir Hendrik, and he got to kiss the lovely princess’s hand!
