Andre is a wise elderbear – one of the few retired bears in all of Teddy Kingdom – though you wouldn’t know it just by looking at him. You see, for many long years he was the most important advisor to the king, but when he finally decided that it was time for a rest, the king told him he could have anything he desired. Andre thought about it, and returned to the king and asked for a small cottage in the quiet of the countryside. The king was surprised, but granted the modest request, and now Andre is enjoying the life he always wanted. He has discovered an interest in knitting, an activity he finds to be very calming and leisurely, and actually useful.
